Step-on Guide Service

The Amish Experience has been conducting guided tours of the Amish farmlands for over 50 years. Through our daily Amish Country Tours (for individual visitors and families) and our group department (for inbound motorcoach groups), we have worked hard and long to earn our reputation for providing the most interesting and informative narrated tours in the area.

Many of our guides have Amish friends and provide personal insights on this ever-changing culture. Information on one-room school education, weddings, funerals, farming, etc. is all part of each tour. At the same time, we pride ourselves in pointing out and explaining whatever might be going on or seen at any given moment on your tour.

Continuing In-Service Days include speakers and updates on Amish culture for our certified Amish Country guide force. With so many local Amish as our friends, it is not surprising that we have developed the most unique tour opportunities ever available in Lancaster County.

Regular step-on guide service will be for three hours, but may be shortened upon request. Stops normally include roadside stands, bake shops, and Amish farms whenever possible.

We always encourage you to look at our specialty theme tours to truly offer the unforgettable memories you hope for your group. Other companies may provide guides --- we provide an experience --- it’s even in our name, The Amish Experience!

Allow 3 hours.
