Youthful explorers discover the world of the Amish at the Amish Experience, and enjoy all kinds of farm activities, even a puzzling journey through a corn maze... Just $16.95 per person.

DETAILS: Starts your day with us at the Amish Experience F/X Theater, where your young charges will bear witness to the entertaining and gripping story of young Jacob Fisher, with whom they will readily identify. Jacob is a teenager who must decide whether or not to join and remain in the Amish community with his family and neighbors. The pushes and pulls from the “outside world” make Jacob’s choice difficult.

Flashbacks into history come alive through special effects --- five movie screens, “Pepper’s Ghost” imagery, a cannon that shoots smoke rings over their heads, and even wind and rain right in the theater! After the show, we’ll take the guided tour through the nine rooms of the Fisher home, where many scenes from “Jacob’s Choice” were filmed. At this designated “Heritage Site,” guides talk about growing up Amish, plain clothing, and living without electricity. We’ll even play some Amish school games, if you’d like!

The Amish Experience is, at once, engaging and educational, providing lessons for audiences of all ages.

Then, we make the short journey to the Amazing Maize Maze, where unending hands-on, interactive activities await. Favorites, besides the incredible maize itself, include the following: barnyard jump, pedal karts, pumpkin sling, singing chicken show, giant hay chute slide, and the farm tour wagon ride, pulled by a tractor.
