Amish Artisan Tour
The Amish have a reputation for making quality goods. From carefully stitched quilts, to expertly shaped furniture, “Made in Amish Country” suggests craftsmanship and attention to detail. We have been taking large motorcoach groups for “Amish Artisan Tours” for years. In 2025 we have developed a version of this tour for individual parties. On this Amish Artisan Tour, we take visitors in our 14 passenger mini bus to meet three Amish artisans, in their workshops where they make their merchandise. Meet the Amish artisan. See what they make, and how they make it. Hear from them how they got started in their craft, and ask them questions about their creative journey. This tour is a shopper’s delight. Start out with an Amish Experience shopping bag, with our own little gift for each guest. At each of the three Amish artisan stops, you’ll receive another gift from the Amish artisan. So every guest walks away from this tour with four free gifts. Additional shopping opportunities are given at each stop.

$35.95 per person regardless of age.
2025 Amish Artisan Tour Days & Times:
Thursdays and Saturdays in October 2025.
Departs from Amish Experience Theater box office at 1:00pm. Tour duration is two hours.
The Amish Artisan Tour is limited to 14 passengers on our mini-buses. If traveling with children, please note infants, toddlers, and small children must be in a car seat you provide – it is PA State Law. Tour check-in and departure at Amish Experience Theater box office, east parking lot, at Plain & Fancy, Route 340, between Bird-in-Hand and Intercourse. Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to tour time. (GPS: 3121 Old Philadelphia Pike, Bird In Hand, PA 17505) We cannot hold the tour for late-comers. If you are traveling with pets, please arrange for their care prior to arriving at the Amish Experience as pets are not allowed on our tours.
